Habitat For Humanity is a non-profit organization with the goal of providing affordable homes for deserving families.  Recipients invest 500 hours of "sweat equity" and, in return, purchase their own home with great terms.

In the summer of 2008, Room by Room is proud to have participated in the construction of a new home for Marc Duhamel and his family.  Marc, Adam, Kess, and Marc Jr. were excited to accept the keys to their new home from primary Contractor Tim Leslie of LHL Homes.  Tim and our own Linda Georges served on the Habitat For Humanity Board, and with the help of Jen Lough and Rene' Chambers spent many hours working on Marc's home as a way to give back to the community.  Marc was thrilled with the many extra design touches in his home that Room by Room added to make it warm and inviting.
